Gingham Saturday

Black Friday has swept the world with mass consumerism but it's original reason for being seems lost.

Leeds independent Fabrication Crafts is bringing that spirit back with their Gingham Saturday sale, to thank their customers for supporting them over the last couple of years

The Social Enterprise supports micro crafts businesses and in their shop in The Light, has over 75 under it's roof, selling everything from food to furniture, homewares, clothing, body products, artwork, cards, musical instruments, jewellery and accessories

The sale is timed to support Small Business Saturday, a national awareness day encouraging christmas shoppers to visit independents, as well as chain stores.

Shoppers can be sure of finding some fabulous bargains, as many items in the shop are one off designer items so you can be sure of finding something different to the usual sale items of fridges and tv's

 Fabrication will also be launching the Indie Leeds christmas bauble trail on the same day, so keep an eye open for participating independants around the city
